ATP’s new Magnum Steel Force Impact Tools for structural steel assembly set a new standard in power to weight ratio compared to traditional impact tools used, and other types of tools used for structural steel assembly. At a weight of only 13.5 lbs. or 40% lighter, Steel Force Impact tools deliver high and fast output, while providing improved ergonomics for operators throughout their demanding day.
The powerful single hammer impact mechanism has only 3 moving parts and is extremely durable and easy to service. Four models are available with inside and outside triggers, and with either a one-inch square drive anvil or #5 spline anvil. These impacts are rated for 1-1/8” A325 or 1” A490 fasteners, and have been a popular choice for snug-up fastening of larger structural fasteners before final tensioning.
